Why this exists

Built by a mama who almost missed it.

At our daughter's 10-month checkup, we asked for a blood test. Her ferritin came back at 12 — already at the low end, despite breastfeeding and an iron-rich diet, and months before Switzerland's routine 1-year check.

That moment turned a kitchen habit into a mission: meal plans where the iron thinking, the timing, the textures and the safety checks are already done — so you can just cook and feed.

Everything here is informed by published infant-feeding guidance and our own family's experience, and tested on one very real, very opinionated Swiss baby.

"I don't want any parent to rely on luck for the things that shape their baby's first year."

Questions

Asked all the time.

Is this medical advice?

No. Everything here is educational and based on published infant-feeding guidance plus our own family's experience. Always discuss your baby's individual needs, allergies and any supplements with your paediatrician.

My baby is 15 months / 4 months — which plan fits?

The 12–18 month plan covers toddlers up to 18 months. For babies under 6 months, current guidance recommends milk only — join the free list and we'll send the starter plan the moment you're ready to begin solids.

Do plans work for baby-led weaning and purées?

Both. Plans progress from soft textures to self-feeding finger foods, with safe shapes and a squish-test rule for every stage — you choose the pace.

What about allergies?

Age plans include a step-by-step allergen introduction schedule (one food at a time, 3-day watch). The personalized plan is built around your baby's specific history and any known reactions. If your baby has a diagnosed allergy or has already reacted to a food, always follow your paediatrician's or allergist's guidance first — we never diagnose or replace medical advice.

In which language are the plans?

English today — German versions are in the works. Tell us which you need when you join the list; it helps us prioritize.
