Terms of sale
The clear, plain-English deal for our personalized 3-week meal plan — what you get, what it is not, and what we each promise.
In short: the personalized plan is a warm, educational document tailored to your family. It is not medical advice and never replaces your paediatrician. You stay in charge of your baby’s safety — supervising meals, checking every label, and getting professional advice for anything medical or allergy-related. Please read the full terms below before you buy.
1. Who we are & what these terms cover
Baby Nutrition Lab is an independent personal project run by a mum in Winterthur. When you buy a personalized plan, your agreement is with:
- Fitore Ibraimi · Baby Nutrition Lab
- Winterthur, Switzerland
- Email: hello@babynutritionlab.ch
These Terms of Sale (the “Terms”) apply whenever you order our paid personalized 3-week baby meal plan (the “plan”) through this website, and to your use of the website itself. By placing an order and ticking the consent boxes at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not buy the plan. How we handle your data is explained separately in our privacy policy.
2. What you’re buying
You are buying a personalized, educational 3-week meal-plan document prepared for your family. It gathers general infant-feeding guidance and one family’s real-life experience into meal ideas, structures and suggestions, shaped around the information you give us in the intake form (such as your baby’s age, feeding stage, foods already introduced, any reactions you mention, your kitchen setup and your priorities).
To prepare it, we use an AI assistant to help draft the plan from your intake, and then we review it ourselves before it is sent — there is always a human in the loop. The plan is delivered to you digitally: by email, with a private web link.
It is general educational content, not a bespoke clinical prescription. It reflects typical, everyday feeding ideas — not a diagnosis, a therapeutic diet, or a calculated nutritional programme for your individual child.
Your plan also includes one round of reasonable adjustments if you request them within 14 days of delivery.
3. This is not medical advice
Please read this carefully. The plan and everything on this website are for general information and education only. They are not medical, nutritional, dietetic, diagnostic or treatment advice, and they must never be treated as a substitute for the advice of your own paediatrician or a qualified health professional who knows your child.
Buying a plan does not create any doctor–patient, dietitian–patient or other professional-care relationship between you and Baby Nutrition Lab or its owner. We are not your child’s doctor, dietitian or nurse, and we are not providing individual healthcare.
You must consult your paediatrician before using the plan — and an allergist as well if allergies are a concern — especially in relation to any medical condition, allergy, previous reaction, feeding difficulty, supplement or medicine. Never start, stop, delay or change anything about your child’s feeding or care because of the plan without first checking with your own health professional. If you ever think your child is having an allergic reaction or a medical emergency, stop and seek urgent medical help immediately.
To say it plainly once more: the plan is educational and does not replace your paediatrician.
4. Your responsibilities
You know your child, your kitchen and your circumstances far better than any document can. Because of that, you are solely responsible for how the plan is used. In particular, you are responsible for:
- Supervising your child at all times while they eat, and being alert to choking and other risks.
- Checking every ingredient, product and label yourself — every single time — for your baby’s safety, including allergens, age-suitability, texture and freshness.
- Safe food preparation, cooking, storage, temperature and hygiene.
- Deciding what is actually appropriate for your own child, and adapting or skipping anything that is not right for them.
- Obtaining professional medical, allergy and nutritional advice for your child’s individual needs.
You also confirm that the information you give us in the intake form is accurate, complete and up to date. The plan can only be as suitable as the details you provide, and we rely on them in good faith.
5. Allergies & medical conditions
Where you tell us a food has caused a reaction, we will do our best to leave that food out of your plan. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free, trace-free or reaction-free plan. Ingredients, recipes, brands and manufacturing change, cross-contamination happens, and every baby is different. It remains your responsibility to verify every ingredient and label for your child’s specific allergies and sensitivities before serving anything.
If your child has any medical condition, food allergy, intolerance, or a history of reactions, or was born prematurely or has other special needs, please only use the plan with the prior approval of your doctor or allergist. When in doubt, leave it out and ask a professional.
6. No guarantee of results
The plan is general educational content, and babies are wonderfully unpredictable. We therefore make no promise or warranty of any particular outcome — whether about health, weight, growth, appetite, sleep, behaviour, development, fussiness or nutrition. We cannot guarantee your child will like, eat, tolerate or benefit from any suggestion in the plan. To the extent the law allows, the plan and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Limitation of liability & indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, Baby Nutrition Lab and its owner accept no liability for any harm, injury, illness, allergic reaction, loss, cost or damage — whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, the plan, the website, or anything in them.
Where we are found liable despite the above, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid for the plan (CHF 59).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Baby Nutrition Lab and its owner from any claims, demands, losses or costs (including reasonable legal costs) brought by a third party arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the plan or website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law. In particular, these limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, nor to liability for intent or gross negligence, nor to any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived. All of the above therefore applies only to the extent permitted by law.
8. Payment, price & delivery
The plan costs a one-time CHF 59, payable in advance by card through Stripe Checkout. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment has gone through.
We deliberately take on only a small number of plans each month so that each one gets proper attention, so availability may be limited. After your payment, we typically prepare and deliver your plan within about 5 days. This is a good-faith estimate rather than a guaranteed deadline; if something is going to take longer, we will let you know by email. The finished plan is delivered by email together with a private web link to view it.
9. Digital content & your right of withdrawal
The plan is digital content that is created specially for you and delivered electronically. Because it is custom-made and begins the moment you order, special rules apply to cancellation.
By placing your order and ticking the consent box at checkout, you expressly ask us to begin preparing your plan straight away, and you acknowledge and agree that you thereby lose (waive) any 14-day right of withdrawal that might otherwise apply to distance sales of digital content once preparation has begun. In other words, once we have started work on your personalized plan, it can no longer be cancelled under a cooling-off right.
If you change your mind before we have actually started preparing your plan, just email us — we’ll cancel and refund you in full.
10. Refunds
Because each plan is custom digital work made just for your family, it is generally non-refundable once it has been prepared. That said, we care about getting it right. If something is genuinely wrong — for example the plan does not match the intake you submitted, or it simply was not delivered — just email us and we will put it right, or, at our discretion, offer a refund. Please reach out at hello@babynutritionlab.ch before requesting a chargeback so we have the chance to help. Your mandatory statutory rights, including any conformity rights for digital content in your country of residence, remain unaffected.
11. Intellectual property
Your plan is provided for your personal use within your own family. It remains our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). Please do not copy for others, resell, republish, share publicly, or redistribute the plan or its private link. You are welcome to print it and use it at home for your own child — that is exactly what it is for.
12. Changes, governing law & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example if the service changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and the version published here at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order.
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the plan, are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). To the extent permitted by law, the courts of Winterthur (Canton of Zürich), Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction; any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence remain unaffected.

A gentle reminder: everything on Baby Nutrition Lab is educational and reflects one family’s experience. It is not medical or nutritional advice and does not replace your paediatrician. Always introduce new foods one at a time and ask your doctor about your baby’s individual needs.
